OUR PROCESS
Our intention is to create spaces for our clients that consider their lives, their patterns, and their habits: We design for the way they live, and then elevate the space with our design intent. We
always strike a balance: rooms that feel grounded and familiar, yet still have interest and depth. Our work is “approachable modern”: Clean lines, quality fabrics, materials that feel warm and inviting.
We consider every detail, from design schematics through design development to final installation. Our practice leans on our valued partnerships and collaborations with architects, contractors and skilled artisans. The process is transparent to our clients, with budget guidelines established at the outset and carefully managed.
Our palette tends towards the neutral, beginning with a subtle base of color and texture. We layer in interest with wallpaper, graphic patterns, elements of sculpture and art. The foundation of our work is the inclusion of materials that improve with time: metals that patina, textured ceramics, solid woods and natural fabrics like linen and wool.
Many of our clients stay in our lives, as friends and repeat clients. We consider those relationships to be the best testament of our work.
